The 19th annual Human-Robot Interaction Pioneers Workshop will be held on March 11th, 2024 in conjunction with the 2024 ACM/IEEE International Conference on Human-Robot Interaction. The workshop will be hybrid, with both in-person and online attendance available, dependent on the HRI main conference format (i.e., hybrid or fully online).

HRI Pioneers seek to foster creativity and collaboration surrounding key challenges in human-robot interaction and empower students early in their academic careers. Each year, the workshop brings together a cohort of the world's top student researchers and provides the opportunity for students to present and discuss their work with distinguished student peers and senior scholars in the field.

Pioneers is a premiere forum for students in HRI, thus we invite students at any stage of their academic career to consider applying. To facilitate attendance, we expect to provide financial support to accepted students to help mitigate the costs of the workshop and main conference (contingent on conference format).
